Pile

My mom and I have been creating a pile in the yard...it is made of 10 foot long thorny branches, logs, cedar branches, shrubbery, hedge clippings and a very dead christmas tree. In my mind it looks like Andy Goldsworthy...

Dance Boom!

Finished Dance Boom! last week. Here is a link to the review and some photos.

Most important part of the process...the outfit.

Andre's response to "Look like a rock star"

Chris likes it...Lisa and Andre are not so sure.

Western Mass

We are in Western Massachusetts where it is about 1o degrees colder and about 100 degrees more beautiful than where we have been. We are staying in our friend Shakti's house which is so lovely and sweet. Small is beautiful when it comes to houses and vast is beautiful when it comes to gardens and forests.

Tomorrow we will go to Earthdance, a board meeting, perhaps a sauna and definately some dancing.

On a serious note, Earthdance could use financial support right now (check out website for more details) if you love dance please consider giving. Contact us for more info if you are interested in giving.

It is Friday

Okay, this is my first blog ever...I feel shy.

We just returned from teaching in DC for the members of the Dance Exchange. Liz Lerman and company have a beautiful new space in Takoma Park. The dancers were beautiful and Chris and I had a great time.

Here are a few pictures of us dancing in the small studio of the new space.

Daniel sitting, Elizabeth, Angie, Matt in the window and Thomas is standing.

Coming this week: A trip to earthdance for a board meeting. Lisa G and Andre G arrive for our DanceBoom! collaboration next week in Philadelphia. But all we really want to do is work in the yard!
